I took these photographs from a sanctuary near Ramsbottom.
These photographs were taken of various animals that are associated with animal testing. They are put through cruel experiments to test the effects of chemicals contained within medicines and cosmetics to insure they are safe for human usage. Examples include shampoos, make up and popular skin care brands.
These photographs link to my exam question "Thinking Green". My aim is to bring awareness to animal testing by creating an eco-friendly, cruelty free skin care line.

I drew this particular object as it has a significant importance to my exam question "Thinking Green" as the brand of the object i drew is cruelty - free and eco friendly. I also aimed to capture the different angles and shadows of the object in different positions and different parts as can be seen in all of my drawings my final drawing is the one i spent the largest amount of time on.
However we also encountered some restrictions when it came to drawing the other sketches one was called continuous line this means when you can't take your pen of the page this restriction was quite challenging as you need to think were to start your drawing. Another restriction was time for one sketch we had 30 seconds to draw the image which was exceedingly challenging as we had to spend the majority of the time sketching out the outline of the object. The other time restriction was 3 minutes i managed to get the rough outline and a few minor details of the object. If i could do the sketch again i would utilise my time better and get more detail of the object down rather then focus on the accuracy of the proportions.
