David Carson is known for his distressed textures purposely layered in a chaotic fashion . Carson is also renowned for his style of typography which is broken down and deconstructed but not in a way in which it is illegable. David's work typically includes the arrangement of his text to form the shape of the object or the figure of a person.
In my 6 Carson developments, i made posters displaying an architecture exhibition that replicate his distressed and deconstructed typography whilst also giving the posters that grunge effect presented in many of david's work.

Paula Scher is one of the most influential graphic designers in the world. Paula sees art from a different angle as she understands typography on a deeper level and how influential it can be she also describes typography as "painting with words". Scher's work has variety of contrast which varies in style dependent on the request, sometimes her work might be funky other times sleek or even sophisticated but regardless of the style it always hits the brief. Paula's work is described as iconic in regards to her loud and bold choices.
In my 6 Scher developments i made posters displaying an architecture exhibition replicating Paula's loud, bold and iconic style using typography. Just like Paula in the 6 posters the text revolves and wraps around the buildings which in this case or the centrepieces.
